cubed lamb

Cube the lamb and set aside.

Roast black pepper, cumin, and other spices in a pan until fragrant.

Use a mortar and pestle to grind the roasted spices.

Dice the onion, garlic, and green chili.

Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions until soft.

Add the ground spices to the onions and mix well.

Brown the cubed lamb in the pan with the onions and spices.

Add diced tomatoes to the mixture and let it stew for 2 hours to soften the lamb.

After 2 hours, add the washed basmati rice to the stew.

Pour in 3 cups of water and mix everything together.

Cover and cook for 20 minutes until the rice is done.
