Guava Duff with Brandy Sauce

Apple juice provides sweetness without alcohol.
Prepare a steaming pot with water and bring to a boil.
Mash the guava in a bowl until smooth.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
Cream butter in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the mashed guava, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Pour the batter into a greased pudding mold.
Cover the mold tightly with foil and place it in the steaming pot.
Steam for 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
While the duff is steaming, prepare the brandy sauce by heating brandy and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat.
Whisk in confectioners' sugar until smooth and heated through.
Remove the duff from the steamer and let it cool slightly before unmolding.
Slice the duff and serve warm with the brandy sauce drizzled on top.
