Grilled Lamb Burger with Homemade Green Harissa Sauce

Today, lamb burgers with harissa are enjoyed globally, often customized with various toppings and sauces, showcasing the versatility of this dish.

In a medium-sized bowl, add about 1 pound of ground lamb.
Take 3 jalapenos, cut the tip off one, and scoop out the seeds.
Add 1 teaspoon of kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon of fresh cracked black pepper to the lamb.
Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano.
Add 6-7 mint leaves, 7 basil leaves, and 4 garlic cloves to the bowl.
Chop these herbs and garlic together.
Zest 2-3 pieces of lemon peel from a lemon using a peeler.
Blend the chopped herbs, garlic, and lemon zest together until mixed.
Add the blended mixture to the bowl with the lamb.
Mix the lamb and herbs together gently, being careful not to overmix.
Add 1 cup of feta cheese crumbles to the lamb mixture and mix until combined.
Form the mixture into about 3 patties.
Preheat the grill to about 400°F.
Spray the grill grates with cooking oil.
Place the patties on the grill and cook for 3 minutes on the first side.
Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4 minutes on the second side.
If the patties are not done after 4 minutes, cook for an additional minute on the second side.
Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for at least 10 minutes before serving.
