In a pan, heat ghee and add semolina, stirring continuously until it turns light golden brown.

Add grated coconut and mix well, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.

In a bowl, combine sugar, cardamom powder, and water to make a syrup, then add it to the semolina mixture.

Mix everything well and cook until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.

Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into half-moon or crescent shapes (ghughra).

Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the ghughras until golden brown on both sides.

Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
