Melt 60 grams of butter in a saucepan along with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of peanut butter.

Add 170 grams of porridge oats, 50 grams of caster sugar, 40 grams of walnuts, 40 grams of almonds, and 30 grams of dried cranberries to the melted mixture.

Turn off the heat and stir everything together until all the ingredients are coated in the peanut butter and honey.

Take an oven dish lined with greaseproof or parchment paper and greased on the sides.

Pour the mixture into the oven dish and use the back of a wooden spoon to press it down until compact.

Place into an oven preheated to 170 degrees Celsius (340°F) and bake for 30 minutes until golden and before it starts to brown on the edges.

Remove from the oven and leave to cool thoroughly before cutting into eight granola bars.
