Cut the onions and jalapenos into small pieces using a vegetable chopper.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add the diced onions; sauté until cooked.
Wash the lentils thoroughly, removing any debris and rinsing until the water runs clear.
Add the cleaned lentils to the pan with the onions.
Add salt, garlic powder, ginger powder, and mix well; add water as needed to prevent sticking.
Once the lentils are cooked, let the mixture cool down.
Prepare a glue mixture by mixing flour and water in a bowl.
Take a spring pastry roll, fill it with the lentil mixture, and fold it to seal using the glue mixture.
Heat oil in a pan for frying; ensure the oil is hot enough before adding the sambusas.
Carefully place the sambusas in the oil and fry until golden brown, flipping as necessary.
