Video Description

Hello everyone! Welcome to my channel, Netsi Living. Today, I'm showing you how to make an Ethiopian breakfast, called chechebsa. It is really easy to make, even if you have never made Ethiopian food before. At first it is, actually, just like making pancakes or tortillas, but, after you take it off the pan or griddle, you tear it into bit-size pieces, mix in the other ingredients, and then squish it and mash it thoroughly with your hands. It is so simple to make, and, yet, many people don’t know how to make it right. I never order it from restaurants because they usually make it too dry by overcooking it or not adding enough butter (qibe). If you are new to Ethiopian food and are wondering what Ethiopians eat for breakfast, this is one very good example. Most Ethiopian foods are originally from a specific ethnic group within Ethiopia, and chechebsa is no different, hailing from Oromia. Please check out my channel’s other Ethiopian food videos, such as my beef tibs video, Ethiopian lasagna video, and Ethiopian cheese (ayb) and make sure you click the subscribe button for my channel, Netsi Living, so that YouTube will suggest my next Ethiopian food and international cuisine videos to you when I post it. There are many Ethiopian food dishes that I have already recorded and some that I have even edited, already, so stay tuned and let me know if there is anything you would like me to show how to make! I also make travel videos at least four times per year, as an added bonus! By the end of this video, I hope to have earned your like and subscription.
