Honey Garlic Grilled Shrimp

Select the biggest raw shrimp with the tail on, deveined and peeled.
Add the shrimp to a gallon size bag.
Prepare the honey garlic marinade using equal parts soy sauce and honey, along with a little garlic and ginger.
Reserve one third of the honey garlic sauce for later use after cooking.
Coat the shrimp in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated and submerged.
Remove air from the bag and place it in the fridge for 25 minutes.
Clean the grill grates using canola oil on paper towels to prevent sticking.
Set up the grill for two-zone cooking with a hot side and a cold side.
Cook the shrimp on the cool side for 2-3 minutes until they turn orange, then move them to the hot side for a char.
Monitor the shrimp's internal temperature, aiming for 125 degrees for optimal doneness, but USDA recommends 145 degrees.
After reaching the desired temperature, move the shrimp to the cool side and baste with butter to keep them moist.
Add the reserved honey garlic sauce to the shrimp to reabsorb flavors while cooling down.
Serve the shrimp over rice or slaw, garnished with curly parsley.
