2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
680g passata
1 large glass red wine
1 tbsp chopped oregano or basil
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp caster sugar

Heat oil and garlic in a deep frying pan.

Add passata and red wine and bring to the boil.

Stir in the oregano, vinegar and sugar and simmer for 10 minutes.
