1/8 teaspoon Asafoetida
1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
Curry Leaves, chopped
1 Green Chilli
1/2 cup Onion, chopped
1 inch Ginger, chopped
1/2 teaspoon Chilli Powder
1 teaspoon Garam Masala
1/2 teaspoon Amchur Powder
Salt, to taste
1 cup Potato, boiled & mashed
Coriander Leaves
1 cup Besan (Roasted Gram Flour)
1 teaspoon Carom Seeds
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

Prepare the besan batter by mixing besan, carom seeds, turmeric powder, salt, and enough water to make a smooth batter.

In a pan, heat oil and add asafoetida, cumin seeds, and chopped curry leaves.

Add chopped green chilli, onion, and ginger; sauté until onions are translucent.

Stir in chilli powder, garam masala, amchur powder, and salt.

Add the boiled and mashed potatoes, mix well, and cook for a few minutes.

Remove from heat and let the mixture cool down.

Once cooled, shape the potato mixture into small balls.

Dip each ball into the besan batter, ensuring it is fully coated.

Deep fry the coated balls in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
