Crackers are a versatile snack enjoyed globally, with origins tracing back to ancient civilizations. They serve as a base for cheeses, spreads, or dips, making them a staple for gatherings and casual snacking. Today, variations abound, from whole grain to gluten-free options, reflecting diverse culinary traditions.

💰Cheaper: all-purpose flour
Whole wheat flour adds fiber and nutrients.
Mince some sage leaves.
In a mixing bowl, sift 1.5 cups of flour.
Add 0.5 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of avocado oil.
Add the minced sage and 0.5 cup of water.
Mix the ingredients until the dough starts to form.
Knead the dough for 3 to 5 minutes.
Divide the dough ball into two pieces.
Dust the countertop and roll one of the dough balls out really thin.
Add toppings: salt, fresh cracked black pepper, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds.
Roll over the toppings to embed them into the dough.
Cut the dough into desired shapes using a knife or cookie cutter.
Take the blunt end of a wooden skewer and press it into the dough of each cracker several times to prevent large air pockets during baking.
Repeat the same process with the other dough ball.
Line the crackers up on a baking sheet.
Put them into the oven preheated to 350°F on the middle rack.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and set on a cooling rack.
