2 cups boiled corn
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small apple (optional)
2 teaspoons black salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons black pepper powder
1 pinch cumin powder
1 pinch chaat masala
2 medium green chilies, chopped
1 teaspoon homemade red chili sauce
savory snacks (sev) for garnish
1

Start by boiling corn in water with a little salt for about 2 whistles until soft.

2

Finely chop one small tomato and one small onion.

3

Prepare one small apple if desired, which is easily available in the market.

4

Sprinkle black salt on top for taste after mixing the ingredients.

5

Squeeze juice from half a large lemon, approximately one tablespoon.

6

Add two teaspoons of black pepper powder.

7

Add one pinch of cumin powder and one pinch of chaat masala for flavor.

8

Chop two medium-sized green chilies and add them to the mixture.

9

Add one teaspoon of homemade red chili sauce for spiciness.

10

In a large bowl, add the boiled corn first.

11

Then add the dry spices: salt, green chilies, black pepper, cumin powder, chaat masala, and red chili sauce.

12

Mix all the ingredients well in the bowl.

13

Add the chopped tomato and onion to the corn mixture.

14

If you prefer finer onion pieces, you can grate them instead of chopping.

15

Mix everything thoroughly to combine the flavors.

16

Add sev for garnish to enhance the appearance and crunchiness.

17

Serve the corn chaat in a serving bowl or plate.

18

Finally, add lemon juice last to ensure all ingredients are well combined before serving.

19

Sprinkle a little black salt on top before serving.
