1 to 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
½ tsp Mustard Seeds (rai)
½ cup (30 gms) Coconut Slices (nariyal ke patle tukde, thenga kottu)
18 to 20 (20 gms) Garlic (finely chopped)
½ inch (10 gms) Ginger (finely chopped)
1 sprig Curry Leaves
2 medium (150 gms) Onion (finely chopped)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder (haldi powder)
1.5 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
1.5 tsp Coriander Powder (dhania powder)
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder (kali mirch powder)
½ tsp Garam Masala Powder
½ tsp Fennel Powder (saunf powder, perumjeerakam podi)
¼ tsp Asafoetida (optional but recommended) (hing, kayam)
½ tsp Salt (as per taste)
1.5 tsp Vinegar (sirka)
