1 kilo pork belly
2 thumb-sized ginger
1 medium onion
2 medium potatoes
2 large banana (saba)
2 pieces yellow corn
1 bunch pechay
200 grams cabbage
2 teaspoon whole peppercorns
1 piece pork broth cube
1 tablespoon fish sauce
5 cups rice water (or plain water)

Cut the pork belly into chunks and set aside.

Peel and chop the potatoes into quarters.

Slice the banana (saba) into thick pieces.

In a large pot, add the pork belly and enough water to cover it. Bring to a boil.

Add the ginger, onion, and whole peppercorns to the pot.

Once boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer until the pork is tender.

Add the potatoes, banana, yellow corn, and pork broth cube. Stir to combine.

Continue to simmer until the vegetables are cooked through.

Finally, add the pechay and cabbage, and season with fish sauce. Cook for a few more minutes until the greens are wilted.
