Kalua Pork

4 lbs pork shoulder
1 tbsp sea salt
2 tbsp liquid smoke
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Rub the pork shoulder with sea salt evenly on all sides.

Place the pork shoulder in a large roasting pan or Dutch oven.

Drizzle the liquid smoke over the pork, ensuring it is well coated.

Add the water to the bottom of the pan to create steam during cooking.

Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil or a lid.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 6 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
