Add diced beef and brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.

Incorporate chopped tomatoes, green bell peppers, and carrots; cook for 5 minutes.

Pour in beef stock and add bay leaves; bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1-1.5 hours until beef is tender.

Add diced potatoes and chili powder; cook until potatoes are soft, about 20 minutes.

Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to taste.

Serve hot with sadza or rice.
