Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add 5 to 8 black peppercorns, 1-2 inches of cinnamon stick, and 6 cloves to the hot oil.
Add 6 to 8 fresh curry leaves and 2 finely chopped fresh chilies (optional) to the pan and stir.
Add 1 large chopped onion (about 1 to 1.25 cups) and cook until softened, about 1 minute.
Add 1 tsp ginger paste and 1 tsp garlic paste; cook for about 1 minute.
Add 0.5 tsp turmeric powder, 1.5 tsp red chili powder, and 1.5 tsp garam masala; stir to combine.
Deglaze the pan with 1-2 tablespoons of water to prevent spices from burning.
Add 500 grams of regular beef mince and cook until browned, about 2 minutes, breaking it up into small pieces.
Season with salt to taste and add 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce; stir well.
Add 1/3 cup of frozen green peas and stir gently.
Add 3/4 to 1 cup of water in two stages, stirring after each addition.
Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
Stir the mixture to prevent the beef from catching at the bottom of the pan and check seasoning.
Simmer for another 5 minutes, adjusting seasoning as needed, then remove from heat.
Add chopped fresh coriander and stir before serving.
