Stovetop Popcorn

1/4 cup unpopped yellow popcorn kernels
1/8 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon melted butter

Heat a large pot on high heat for about 4-5 minutes.

Add 1/8 teaspoon of vegetable oil to the pot, spreading it around to coat the bottom thinly.

Add 1/4 cup of unpopped yellow popcorn kernels to the pot.

Cover the pot with a lid and shake it constantly for a couple of minutes until the kernels start to pop.

Vent the lid slightly to let some steam escape while keeping most of the hot air in.

Continue shaking until the popping slows down and you no longer hear popping sounds.

Once done, pour the popcorn into a large bowl.

Drizzle 1 tablespoon of melted butter over the popcorn and toss it with a spatula to coat evenly.

Sprinkle sea salt over the popcorn and toss again to ensure the salt sticks.
