Cook the lamb neck in a pot with onion, garlic, turmeric, salt, and pepper.

Pour boiling water until it covers the ingredients.

Simmer the pot over low heat for 3 hours until the lamb is cooked.

Shred and mash the lamb.

Mix sugar and yogurt in a bowl and then add to the shredded lamb by the technique called ‘Kaf Mal’.

Add the brewed saffron.

Put the mixture in the fridge.

Garnish the dish with dried berries and nuts before serving.
