A spoonful of cumin seeds
A green chili
Chili flakes

Set the stove to high, and cover the base of a pan with any kind of cooking oil.

Once the oil heats up, add the cumin seeds to the oil and let them sizzle.

Add curry leaves, green chillies and chilli flakes. All of this is according to taste and how spicy you want the dish to be.

Add chopped coriander leaves to the oil -- this is optional.

Mix, and let everything cook for about two minutes.

Add the boiled potato cubes.

Turn the heat down to medium. Taste the potatoes for salt, and add more if needed.

If the potatoes appear dry, you can add a little extra oil.

Turn the heat down to low, and mash up some of the potato cubes.
