1 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp ghee
1 Tbsp jeera
2 chopped green chillies
1 piece pound ginger
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
2 tsp dry mango powder
1 Tbsp coriander seeds
4 dried red chillies
1 tsp salt
4 boiled potatoes
coriander leaves

Add oil and ghee to a wide pan.

To this add, jeera, green chillies and ginger. Saute for a few seconds.

To this add salt, turmeric powder, roasted cumin powder and dry mango powder.

Bring coriander seeds and dried red chillies coarsely.

Add this freshly ground coriander/red chilli powder to the pan.

Saute the masala for few mins on low flame.

Now add cooked, peeled, chopped potatoes to this masala.

Saute the potatoes so that they are completely coated with the masala.

Cover the pan and cook for 10 mins.

Finally Jeera aloo is ready.
