Desiccated Coconut - 1/2 Cup (50g)
Sugar - 1/2 Cup (100g)
Milk Powder - 2 Tbsp
Baking Powder - 1 Tbsp
Salt - 1/4 Tsp
Vanilla Extract - 2 Tsp
Eggs - 2 Large
Curd - 170g (3/4 Cup)
Milk - If Needed To Adjust Batter Consistency
Milk - 2 Cups (480Ml)
Corn Flour - 50g (1/3 Cup)
Sugar - 50g (1/4 Cup)
Sugar - 1 1/2 Cups (300g)
Water - 180ml (3/4 Cup)
Lemon Or Lime juice - 1 Tsp

Preheat the oven.

In a mixing bowl, combine fine semolina, melted margarine, desiccated coconut, sugar, milk powder, baking powder, salt, vanilla extract, eggs, curd, and milk to form a batter.

Adjust the batter consistency with milk if needed.

Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.

Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Prepare the sugar syrup by boiling sugar, water, and lemon or lime juice until it thickens slightly.

Once the Basbousa is baked, pour the sugar syrup over it while it's still warm.

Top with nuts and cheese triangles before serving.
