1

Heat a pan and add singhara flour to it.

2

Roast the flour on low heat for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

3

After 7 to 8 minutes, the flour will have a nice aroma and color, indicating it's roasted well.

4

Add milk gradually while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

5

Create a well in the center of the mixture and add 3/4 cup jaggery.

6

Then add 3 cups of water, and let it sit for a minute to warm the water and melt the jaggery.

7

Stir continuously until the mixture thickens, about 2 minutes.

8

Be careful not to add jaggery and milk at the same time to avoid curdling the milk.

9

Once the mixture thickens, turn off the heat to prevent it from becoming too dry.

10

Serve the soft and delicious halwa.
