Wash rice 2-3 times and soak for 30 minutes.

In a heavy-bottomed pot, add 2 tablespoons of water to prevent milk from sticking.

Add 1 liter of full cream milk and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally.

Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and set aside a little milk in a bowl for later use.

Add soaked rice to the boiling milk and stir immediately to prevent sticking.

Add a pinch of saffron to the milk for flavor and color (optional).

Cook on medium heat for 20-22 minutes, stirring occasionally and mixing the cream that forms on the sides back into the milk.

Blend soaked cashews with the reserved milk to make a paste.

Check the rice for softness after 20-22 minutes; if soft, add the cashew paste to the pot.

Increase heat slightly to bring back to a boil after adding the paste.

After 7-8 minutes, when the milk thickens, add 90 grams of sugar and stir until dissolved.

Add chopped pistachios, almonds, and chirongi, along with crushed cardamom powder, and cook for another 2 minutes.
