Cook 1 cup speckled basmati rice as per packet instructions and refrigerate overnight.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium to high heat.

Add 1/2 finely chopped onion to the pan and sauté for about 5 minutes until it has golden edges.

Add salt to taste and 1/2 teaspoon of pink peppercorns to the onions.

Once the onions are ready, add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, 1.5 teaspoons of masala, and 1 star anise to the pan.

Stir in 3 cups of chopped cabbage and stir-fry for about 6 to 8 minutes, adjusting time for desired cabbage softness.

Add the cooked basmati rice to the cabbage mixture and stir well to combine.

Prepare lamb chops by frying them in a pan with salt, pepper, masala, and dry sauce for about 2 minutes until cooked.
