Instructions

  1. 1Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1-2 tsp black tea leaves (or 1 tea bag)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. 2Add the grated ginger and turmeric powder to the boiling water.
  3. 3Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. 4Add the black tea leaves (or tea bag) and let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
