Clean the water greens by soaking them in salt water for 5 minutes.
Rinse the greens and put them in a strainer, empty the water, and repeat until clean.
Clean the shrimp by removing the vein with a toothpick or by cutting into the back to remove the black line.
Rinse the shrimp in salt water and then under running water a few times.
Transfer the cleaned shrimp to a bowl with fresh fish and soaked dried fish.
Add seasonings to the bowl with the fish and shrimp.
Add 2 cups of hot water to the pot, cover it, and turn the heat to medium-high to bring to a boil, cooking for 10 minutes.
Remove the leaves from the stems of the water greens, discarding the stems.
Use a food processor to slice the greens and transfer them to a bowl, checking for larger pieces to cut.
Return to the pot and add the shrimp and dried fish, cooking for about 1-2 minutes until the shrimp turns pink.
Add the sliced greens to the pot, cover, and cook for 7-10 minutes untouched.
Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
Add palm oil, turn the heat down to medium-low, and let it simmer until the desired consistency is reached.
Remove from heat and let it rest for about 5 minutes before adding soda.
Carefully mix in the soda until well combined.
