Remove the claws from the lobster by breaking them off.
Remove the legs from the lobster by busting them off.
Twist the tail to detach it from the body.
Use a metal cracker to crack the claws and knuckles to extract the meat.
Wash the lobster meat to clean it.
Put a stick of butter in a pan and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add the cracked lobster shells to the pan to infuse the butter with flavor.
Cook the shells in the butter for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the shells from the pan and set them aside.
Rough chop the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces.
Add a couple of splashes of dry sherry to the chopped lobster meat.
