Bring unsalted chicken broth to a boil in a pot over medium heat.
Mix cornstarch with 80ml water in a small bowl until smooth.
Add the cornstarch mixture to the boiling broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
Beat the 2 large eggs in a separate bowl until frothy.
Slowly drizzle the beaten eggs into the soup while stirring gently to create ribbons.
Add chopped green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt to taste.
Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Serve hot.
