Soak chana daal for 2 hours.

Wash the soaked chana daal well.

Boil some water and cook the soaked chana daal until softened.

Cool down the cooked chana daal.

Pour the cooled chana daal into a blender and blend until smooth.

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, ½ tsp salt, 1 tbsp oil, and ½ tsp turmeric powder. Mix well.

Add ⅓ cup water to the flour mixture and make a dough.

In a saucepan, melt ½ cup jaggery with ¼ cup water.

Add the blended chana daal to the melted jaggery and mix well.

Cook the mixture until it separates from the pan.

Stir in ½ tsp cardamom powder and keep aside.
