Rava Ladoo

1 cup semolina (rava)
1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup grated coconut (fresh or desiccated)
1/4 cup chopped nuts (cashews, almonds)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup milk (optional, for binding)
1/4 cup raisins (optional)

Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.

Add semolina and roast until it turns golden brown, stirring continuously.

Remove the roasted semolina from the pan and let it cool slightly.

In the same pan, add sugar and grated coconut, and mix well.

Add the roasted semolina back to the pan and mix thoroughly with the sugar and coconut.

Stir in cardamom powder and chopped nuts, mixing well.

If the mixture is too dry, add milk gradually until it binds together.

Allow the mixture to cool enough to handle, then shape it into small round balls (ladoo).

Place the ladoos on a plate and let them cool completely before serving.
