Besan Barfi

½ Cup Ghee
1 Cup Gram Flour / Besan
¾ Cup Powder Milk
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
½ Tspn Cardamom Powder

Roast the gram flour (besan) in ghee on low flame, stirring continuously for 10 minutes.

In a separate pot, bring sugar and water to a boil and boil for 5 minutes on medium flame.

Add cardamom powder and cook the syrup until it reaches one string consistency.

Mix the roasted gram flour with the sugar syrup until well combined.

Grease a 5-inch mold with oil and place baking paper inside.

Pour the mixture into the mold and spread it evenly.

Spread nuts on top if desired.

Set the mixture for 1 hour at room temperature.
