1 pound lean ground beef
2 medium-sized bell peppers
1 cup yellow onion
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano

1/2 cup white long grain rice
24 oz pasta sauce
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup shredded extra sharp white cheddar cheese

Start with a very large deep skillet or Dutch oven.

Add 1 pound of lean ground beef to the skillet and drain any excess grease.

Break up the beef and cook until browned and no longer pink.

Chop 2 medium-sized bell peppers and 1 cup of yellow onion.

Add the chopped bell peppers and onion to the skillet with the beef.

Cook the peppers and onions for about 3 to 4 minutes until softened.

Mash 2 cloves of garlic and add them to the skillet.
