1 teaspoon split urad dal
8-10 curry leaves
salt to taste
3 tablespoons coconut
coconut for garnish

Peel the cucumber and cut it into 1/4 inch pieces.

Cut the dried red chilies into small pieces.

Heat oil in a non-stick pan.

Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, and red chilies to the hot oil.

Add the cucumber pieces and salt to the pan.

Mix everything well and cover the pan.
