Ingredients

- ●fish sauce
- ●cornstarch
- ●salt
Instructions
- 1Blend red chili peppers and garlic until smooth.
- 2In a saucepan, combine the blended mixture with sugar, vinegar, and water.
- 3Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
- 4Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves completely.
- 5Mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry.
- 6Add the cornstarch slurry to the saucepan while stirring.
- 7Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- 8Remove from heat and let cool.
- 9Transfer to a clean jar and store in the refrigerator.

Instructions
- 1In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, rice vinegar, and soy sauce. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
- 2Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- 3Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 4In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a few tablespoons of water to create a slurry.
- 5Add the cornstarch slurry to the saucepan and stir continuously until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- 6Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 7Add the dry red chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to the sauce. Stir to combine.
- 8Allow the sauce to cool completely before transferring it to a jar or container.
- 9Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
