1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and half of the butter over medium heat.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Cook the shrimp for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque, stirring occasionally.

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley.

Transfer the cooked shrimp mixture into a small pot or ramekin.

Melt the remaining butter and pour it over the shrimp to cover them completely.

Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve chilled or at room temperature with crusty bread for dipping.
