4-5 garlic cloves

1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
2 pinches baking soda

Soak chickpeas overnight in a bowl.

After soaking, the chickpeas will double in size.

In a bowl, add 4-5 green chilies, 1 medium onion cut into chunks, 4-5 garlic cloves, and fresh coriander.

Coarsely grind these ingredients together, adding a little water if necessary.

Transfer the ground mixture to a bowl and check for thickness.

Add 1 tablespoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, and 2 pinches of baking soda to the mixture.

Mix everything well.

Heat oil for frying.

Shape the mixture into small balls or patties.

Check if the oil is hot enough before frying.

Fry the falafel in the hot oil on medium flame until golden brown, about 2 minutes on one side before flipping.

Once golden brown, remove the falafel and place them on a plate lined with tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
