1 cup chick peas (soaked)
1 cup parsley leaves
1/2 cup coriander leaves
2 tbsp mint leaves
1/2 onion (chopped)
3-4 cloves garlic
2-3 green chillies (optional)
1 1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp all purpose flour
oil for frying

Soak chickpeas in water overnight or for at least 8 - 10 hours.

Drain the water completely.

In a bowl add chickpeas, parsley, coriander leaves, garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt and onion.

Transfer them to a blender or a food processor.

Add green chillies and lemon juice.

Blend them until the falafel mixture is coarse.

Add all purpose flour into the mixture and mix well.

Taste it and adjust the seasoning accordingly.

Cover it and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to 1 hour before shaping.

Make round or patty shape with your hand.

Heat a frying pan, pour oil and deep fry it on a medium flame till it turns to golden brown and crispy.

Drain the excess oil and serve hot with any dip of your choice.
