Chinese Shrimp

cooked frozen shrimp – 1 lb | 400 g
garlic – 3 cloves
cooking oil – 2 tbsp
soy sauce – 2 fl oz | 50 ml
rice vinegar – 1.5 tbsp
sugar – 3 tbsp
dried ginger – 1.5 tsp
red chili flakes – to taste
sesame seeds – 1 tsp

Defrost, peel and devein the shrimp, wash in cold water.

Heat a pan with the cooking oil, lay out the shrimp and fry stirring over high heat for 1 minute until golden.

Add the chopped up garlic and fry stirring for a minute or half.

Add the sugar, ground ginger, chili flakes to taste, rice vinegar and soy sauce, stir well and cook for 1 minute more stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.

Switch the heat off, sprinkle the fried shrimp with sesame seeds and serve to the table.
