Mango Kheer

1.5 ltr full fat milk
250 gm ripe mango
100 gm basmati rice
10 cashews
10 almonds
1 pinch saffron
380 gm milkmade
saffron food colour (optional)

Boil the full fat milk in a cooking pot.

Wash and soak the basmati rice for about 30 minutes, then drain.

Add the soaked basmati rice to the boiling milk and cook until the rice is soft.

Blend the ripe mango into a puree and add it to the cooked rice and milk mixture.

Stir in the milkmade and mix well until combined.

Add the cashews, almonds, and saffron, stirring to incorporate.

Cook for a few more minutes until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.

If using, add saffron food colour for a richer appearance.
