Soak 2 tbsp th Dal, 2 tbsp Mur Dal, and 2 tsp Moon Dal in water for about 10 minutes.

In a pressure cooker, add 3 tsp ghee, 2 large cloves of garlic roughly chopped, a small piece of ginger finely chopped, and 2 large green chilies roughly chopped; sauté for a few minutes.

Add 1 medium-sized onion roughly chopped and sauté for a few more minutes.

Add 1 medium-sized tomato roughly chopped, 1 cup of pumpkin pieces, and 1 large carrot chopped; mix well.

Add the soaked Dal, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, and 1 tsp salt; mix everything well.

Pour in 2 cups of water, ensuring the vegetables are completely immersed.

Place the weight on the pressure cooker and let it cook for about 3 to 4 whistles on medium flame.

After 4 whistles, turn off the stove and let the mixture cool completely.

Grind half of the mixture in a blender with a little water to a fine puree.

Transfer the puree to another pan and dilute with a little water to achieve a soupy consistency.

Add 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp cumin powder, and 1 tsp Kashmir red chili powder; mix well and check for seasoning.

Let the soup simmer for about 5 minutes on medium-low flame, adding a handful of fresh coriander leaves and simmer for another 2 minutes.
