1 cup overnight soaked chickpeas
1 medium-sized onion cut into big slices
fresh coriander leaves
1 green chili
2 pieces ginger
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
2 tablespoons besan (gram flour)
salt to taste
oil for frying

Soak 1 cup of chickpeas overnight.

Chop 1 medium-sized onion into big slices.

Add fresh coriander leaves, 1 green chili, 2 pieces of ginger, and 2 garlic cloves to a mixer.

Grind the mixture until it is well combined.

Add 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds, 1 tablespoon of fennel seeds, and 2 tablespoons of besan to the mixture.

Add salt to taste and mix well until all ingredients are properly combined.

Form the mixture into lemon-sized balls.

Heat oil in a kadhai (wok) on medium heat.

Fry the balls until they turn golden brown.
