1 cup coconut milk
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
6 pieces banana leaves
2 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Rinse glutinous rice under cold water until water runs clear.

Soak glutinous rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Drain the soaked rice and place it in a pot with water.

Cook the rice over medium heat until water is absorbed and rice is tender, about 20-25 minutes.

In a separate pot, combine coconut milk, brown sugar, and salt.

Heat the coconut mixture over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.

Add the cooked rice to the coconut mixture and mix well.

Continue to cook the rice mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened, about 10-15 minutes.

Prepare a baking dish by lining it with banana leaves, leaving some overhang.
