Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Chili powder 1/4 tsp
Hing - asofetida 1 pinch
Salt 1.5 teaspoons
Cilantro 1 tbsp
Dal masala 1 teaspoon
Onion 1/2
Tomato finely chopped 1
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Oil as required

Soak the dal for 4 hours in water.

Cook the dal in the InstaPot.

Take a pan with little oil and add cumin seeds.

Add finely chopped onion and tomatoes and sauté until you get a nice aroma.

Add ginger garlic paste and all spices.

Finally, add cooked dal and salt as per taste.

Cook for 8-10 minutes.
