2 tablespoons ginger
1 teaspoon anise seed
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 tablespoon ground onion
1 scotch bonnet pepper
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt

Cut the raw plantain into pieces.

Sprinkle a little bit of cooking oil on the cut plantain pieces.

Prepare the spice blend by using a hand blender to blend ginger, fresh pepper, and a little bit of water.

Add salt to taste to the spice blend.

Mix the blended spice with the plantain pieces and add some cooking oil to the mixture.

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes.
