Olive oil provides a healthier fat option.

Ground turkey is leaner, while ground pork is often less expensive.
Add a bit of pepper to the mixture, but not too much; it's optional.
Add a little white pepper and five spice powder, just a bit.
Sprinkle in a little nutmeg powder.
Add a small amount of chicken broth to the mixture.
Pour in sunflower oil.
Add a tiny bit of homemade seasoned ketchup.
Mix everything together thoroughly.
Lay out the puff pastry and let it thaw.
Place the seasoned ground beef mixture into the puff pastry to create the meat pies.
Preheat the oven to 150°C (302°F).
Knead the ground beef with various spices, adding an egg at the end, depending on the amount of beef used.
Brush the inside of the puff pastry with beaten egg.
Leave the edges open when sealing the pastry.
Brush the outside of the pastry with beaten egg to achieve a golden brown finish.
Place the meat pies in the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 150°C (302°F).
Check the meat pies after 20 minutes to see how they look.
