1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 cup coconut milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons yeast
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 pieces banana leaves
1/2 cup palm sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup grated coconut

Mix rice flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.

Dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit until frothy.

Combine yeast mixture with rice flour mixture and add coconut milk.

Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes.

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

Prepare banana leaves by cutting them into squares and lightly steaming them.

Once the dough has risen, divide it into small balls.

Flatten each ball and place a spoonful of grated coconut and palm sugar in the center.

Fold the dough over the filling and shape it into a ball again.
