40 grams sugar
150 mls milk

Put ground rice into a pan and toast until brown, about 5 to 8 minutes.

Add sugar and a pinch of salt to the toasted rice.

Add milk and double the amount of water to the pan.

Cook until the rice is thoroughly cooked and the mixture turns into a thick pudding that comes away from the sides.

Tip the mixture onto a tray to cool for about 5 minutes.

Once cooled, roll the mixture into balls about the size of a small apricot.

Dip the rolled balls in coconut and let them cool down before plating.
