1 small diced Onion
2 tbsp Yogurt
2 tsp Lemon Grass
5 Garlic Cloves
2 tsp Coriander powder
2 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp light Soy sauce
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
Cooking Oil
Bamboo skewers soaked in water for 1 hour

Cut the chicken breast into small cubes.

In a blender add diced onion, lemon grass, garlic cloves, yogurt, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt, soy sauce, sugar and little oil, blend this in a food processor (note: add little water if required).

Add ground paste and marinate the chicken pieces for about 8 hours or overnight.

Soak bamboo skewers in water for 1 hour.

Thread the chicken pieces onto the bamboo skewer.

Brush oil in a griddle pan and then on low-medium flame grill each side of chicken for about 3 min.

Brush oil while grilling to avoid meat getting hard.

Serve hot Chicken Satay with any sauce or along with veggies.
