500 grams fresh Cassava
200 ml evaporated milk
4 tablespoons white sugar

Peel the cassava then scrape it.

Remove cassava juice.

In a bowl, combine grated cassava, 2 tbsp sugar and evaporated milk. Mix well then set aside.

In a mold/tin, put in 1 tbsp sugar. Set over heat until melted and golden in color.

Allow to cool down and harden.

Pour the mixture into prepared mold/tin.

Steam in a pan for about 40-45 minutes.

Remove from pan, allow to cool down.

Turn steamed cake over on a plate.

Cut in desired shape.
